The Toby Creek Trip

The Toby Creek is born from high alpine glaciers capping the Purcells. It carves a turquoise ribbon through mountain wilderness and steep canyons. This classic whitewater adventure offers thrills and excitement throughout the twists and turns of the Class I - III river section. It is great for the first time rafter or the seasoned professional.

Depart from Panorama's Adventure Centre daily at 10:00 am, 1:00 pm, and 4:00 pm

  • 2 Hours - $62 per adult (15 and older) plus applicable taxes
  • 2 Hours - $52 per child (8 to 14 years old and over 50 lbs) plus applicable taxes

The Kicking Horse Classic Trip

This trip, covering a distance of 20 km, starts at our Kicking Horse River Basecamp located just west of Yoho National Park Boundary, 24 km east of Golden. In the upper and middle canyons, you'll start out slowly, then pick up until you're getting drenched in continuous class III to IV rapids. You won't forget Portage, Shotgun, Last Waltz and all the other rapids along the way. It's a great trip for the first time rafter or the seasoned veteran. This trip is available in early June as soon as spring runoff levels allow for safe rafting. The minimum age is 14 years old in high water and 12 years old at lower river levels. The minimum weight requirement is 90 pounds.

Departs the Kicking Horse Base Camp at 9:30 am and 12:00 pm

  • Half Day - $112 per person plus applicable taxes
  • Half Day with BBQ lunch - $122 per person plus applicable taxes

Guests will have to provide their own transportation to Golden for this Kicking Horse trip.

The Kicking Horse Ultimate Trip

This trip, covering a distance of 20 km, starts at our Kicking Horse River Basecamp located just west of Yoho National Park Boundary, 24 km east of Golden. In the upper and middle canyons, you'll start out slowly, then pick up until you're getting drenched in continuous class III to IV rapids .You won't forget Portage, Shotgun, Last Waltz and all the other rapids along the way. It's a great trip for the first time rafter or the seasoned veteran. Add on the Lower Canyon section to the Classic Trip. It takes approximately another 1.5 hours to raft this section (time includes portage by road, etc.). This trip is available in early June as soon as spring runoff levels allow for safe rafting. The minimum Age is 16 years old. The minimum weight requirement is 90 pounds.

  • Half Day - $152 per person plus applicable taxes

Kootenay River Full Day Trip

Raft Class 2 and 3 rapids on this superior family adventure. Carrying a distinctive wilderness feel, our one day outing is a delightful 30 mile frolic down the more spirited stretches of the Kootenay. Featuring boisterous whitewater, exquisite Rockies scenery, and the chance of seeing wildlife. This is family vacation fun at its finest. This trip includes a morning snack and our traditional riverside buffet lunch. Great for kids as young as five. Grandparents are welcome.

Kootenay River Half Day Trip

A shortened version of the Full Day Trip, this morning excursion takes you on a swift and lively 12 mile stretch of the Kootenay. A snack of hot and cold drinks, cheese, pastry, and fruit is served.

Voyageur Canoe Trip

Paddle to the past on the beautiful Columbia River as our modern voyageur guides take you back to the time of the fur traders and birchbark canoes. Enjoy the stories of this fascinating time in Canada's history, and be in "the right place at the right time" for viewing the abundant wildlife of the Columbia River Wetlands. The Columbia Wetlands are the longest intact wetlands in North America and part of the Pacific Flyway critical to migrating birds.
